Finish Options

Wood Options and Finishes - We use 8 different woods as standard options which are shown above together with two standard finish options, which include Satin and Gloss. We have carefully selected these color choices to cover a broad spectrum from dark to light. We understand that you may have different requirements in your furniture projects and so we can also match a customers sample or use other species of wood. As an environmentally responsible company, we constantly strive to expand our selection of sustainable veneers and core materials.

Leathers and Fabrics - We use premium Argentinian upholstery leather that Interior designers worldwide specify for corporate, hospitality and residential interiors, corporate and private aircraft and yachts. The leather we use consists of 100% organic reclaimed material that would otherwise end up in landfills. The tanning agents used are composed of natural minerals and all surface finishes are water-based. Leather is exceptionally durable, lasting up to five times longer than other fabrics, thus reducing maintenance and replacement costs, as well as waste. For fabrics, please see COM below.

Metal Options and Finishes - We have made furniture using Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper and Aluminum. Our standard metal finishes are Brushed Stainless Steel and Chrome. In the metals section Chrome, Brushed Stainless Steel and Polished Brass finishes can be seen in detail.

Glass- We use clear 3/4"(19mm) thick glass with flat polished edges and the corners are rounded to a radius of 1/4"(6mm). Glass has iron in it which gives the green color that is commonly seen. The thicker the glass, the darker the green color on the edges. On request we can also use Starfire glass, which is much lighter in color. But by removing the green you are removing the iron which gives the glass its strength. Sandblasted (frosted) glass is also available. Please let us know if you require different edge work.

The Customer's Own Material (COM) program gives customers the option of using textiles of their own choosing. Andrew Muggleton lists the number or yards required for each piece of furniture on the furniture specification sheet. To use your own materials please let us know at the time of order and we will give you an address to ship the fabric to. Once we inspect the material for any defects and usability, we will go ahead and upholster your new piece of furniture. We do not charge extra for using your own material and due to the extra work involved in using customers own materials we do not give a discount on the standard leather that you will be replacing.

Samples are representative of the material to be supplied and may not indicate an exact match.
